UK SAYS NO MORE

In the UK, 1 in 4 churchgoers will be subjected to domestic abuse*

Restored are a UK based charity working to change this story. They do this in three ways:

Speaking up: Raising awareness of the realities of domestic abuse and advocating for survivors, making sure their voices are heard.

Equipping the Church: Through resources like the Church Guide and their 3 levels of domestic abuse training, Restored is equipping churches to respond effectively to domestic abuse, and building a network of Restored Beacon Churches to shine a light into the darkness for survivors.

Supporting survivors: Restored’s online Survivors Network is the largest community of domestic abuse survivors in the UK, and exists to show women who’ve experienced domestic abuse that they aren’t alone. Resources like the Survivors Handbook aim to help survivors navigate the complexities of recovery, including faith related challenges and questions.
